Email verification is an important step to secure your Learniey account and ensure you can receive important notifications and password reset instructions.
Why Verify Your Email?
Verifying your email address helps us:
- Confirm that you own the email address associated with your account
- Send you important account notifications and class updates
- Provide password recovery options if you forget your credentials
- Protect your account from unauthorized access
- Ensure you receive announcements from your class representatives
How to Verify Your Email
Step 1: Create Your Account
When you create a new Learniey account, you'll be asked to provide an email address. Make sure to use a valid email address that you have access to.
Step 2: Check Your Inbox
Within a few minutes of creating your account, you'll receive a verification email from Learniey. The email will be sent from learniey. If you don't see it in your inbox, check your spam or junk folder.
Step 3: Click the Verification Link
Open the email and click on the "Verify Email Address" button or link. This will confirm your email address and activate full access to your account.
Step 4: Confirmation
Once you click the verification link, you'll see a confirmation message that your email has been successfully verified. You can now enjoy all features of the Learniey app.
Resending Verification Email
If you didn't receive the verification email or if the link has expired, you can request a new one:
- Open the Learniey app and log in to your account
- If your email isn't verified, you'll see a banner at the top of the screen
- Tap on "Resend Verification Email"
- Check your email inbox for the new verification message
Troubleshooting
I didn't receive the verification email
If you haven't received the verification email:
- Check your spam folder: Sometimes email filters may incorrectly categorize our emails as spam
- Verify your email address: Make sure you entered the correct email address when creating your account
- Wait a few minutes: Email delivery can sometimes be delayed
- Request a new email: Use the "Resend Verification Email" option in the app
The verification link doesn't work
Verification links expire after 7 days for security reasons. If your link has expired or isn't working:
- Request a new verification email from within the app
- Make sure you're clicking the most recent verification link
- Try copying and pasting the full URL into your browser if clicking doesn't work
Privacy and Security
Your email address is kept secure and private. We will never:
- Share your email with third parties without your consent
- Send spam or promotional emails unrelated to Learniey
- Sell your email address to marketers
